Great overview. I've also been tempted to go for the SE because of its smaller size.

I like the size but, after getting used to 3d touch, I don't want to give it up and I suspect the SE would be a massive downgrade in battery from my 6S Plus.

I love the year of Braille.
I am glad to be confused about braille displays. I want a display but want to be able to write with it and even jot down a number or two.
I want something I can plug in to charge so my batteries won't die just at a point in a novel when something really exciting is happening, or if I am composing a document, I do not want to be forced to stop while I search for more rechargeable batteries.
I sometimes think I'm the only one who loves the baby iPad pro.
I ordered it, and have it and really like it. I got the 128 gig cellular model because I could. I would like to be able to write on glass and so far, iBrailler notes feels easier than iOS braille. I know this may change from day to day.
I hope braille displays do not continue to emphasize reading over writing.
Yes, we can write with any number of things, but as long as we have braille displays to read with, we may as well use the same product to write.
I don't know that the ability to write greatly increases the cost of the already expensive displays. I am thrilled to get a personal demonstration of the Vario Ultra next week.
