The Bitcoin Whitepaper in Braille Can be Yours for Free Thanks to A Crowdfunding Effort

Those interested in receiving a free copy of the Bitcoin Whitepaper, complete with tactile diagrams can now place preorders thanks to a crowdfunding effort.
The whitepaper, entitled "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System," was published in 2008 by Satoshi Nakamoto and is the framework that explains and documents the currency system. It has been translated into numerous languages and is available for free online, though this is the first effort to produce the diagrams in tactile form.
"Bitcoin is about openness and equality. Everyone should have equal access to the technology and all information related to it, regardless of disability," says the project's creator Adam Newbold.
Adam contracted with the American Printing House for the Blind to do the transcription, which you can preorder now for free. He also plans on releasing the raw files provided by APH which can be used with software such as Duxbury. The project more than doubled its original fundraising goal and brought in over 0.22 BTC, or approximately $1,247.
