With the release of Window-Eyes 7.0, we've been able to make our life a bit easier by using bar codes. In this short demonstration, listen as J.J. uses a bar code scanner and a Window-eyes script to identify packages and read product directions.

I'm sorry, but do you think that a post that is almost 7 years old is relavent given the rate at which technology changes these days? Seven years is an EONin the technological time frame. How good is this app, and is it still compatible with todays operating systems? Thanks for the opportunity to voice my concerns about your content.

Mike, we keep all content on our site regardless of age. Some of the older content will be more relevant than others. The BC Scan system is still alive and well however.
