NVDA Remote Access Releases Version 2.0, bringing several improvements and a new Feature

The developers of NVDA Remote Access, an add-on to NVDA which allows users who are both running the screen reader to connect to each others' computers, have released version 2.0. One enhancement in this version is the introduction of Remote Braille. If each connected user has a braille display connected, the braille output should match along with the speech output.

In 2.0, support has been added for NVDA Remote links, which begin with nvdaremote://. When activated, these links will open directly within the program. The release now also supports the ability to automatically connect to a control server in master mode, so that the settings do not need to be configured each time. There are other changes as well, which you can read about on the NVDA Remote documentation page or below. There is a heading for the change log for version 2.0.

NVDA Remote, NVDA, and the NVDA update are all free. For instructions on updating the add-on, please refer to the source link.
