An EBay seller has a DecTalk Express External Speech Synthesizer with an opening bid of $50. Add about $20 for shipping. This was the dominant high-end speech snythesizer for many years and is still compatible with modern screen readers. A serial to USB converter is required for many modern computers. Auction ends March 12.
