This guitar has a solid spruce top, a Spanish-style classical neck, and beech wood back and sides. Unlike steel string acoustic guitars, this one is only 36 inches long and has a 24-inch scale, or vibrating string length. As a result, the frets are closer together, and the guitar is easier to play. Nylon strings are easy on the fingers and require less pressure than steel strings. The guitar is professionally set up for smooth playing, warm tone, and good intonation or pitch all the way up the neck. It also includes a professionally installed pickup to amplify the mellow, natural acoustic sound. This pickup and installation is a $150 value.
