Classifieds: Rare Louis Braille Commemorative Italian 2 Euros 200th Birthday Anniversary Coin

I have a small number of Italian 2 Euros commemorative coins that were only available in Italy and made to commemorate the 200th birthday Anniversary of Louis Braille. These are non circulated coins in new mint condition. These were made as part of the Italian money and were actually circulated to be used as 2 Euros. Check out the details below.

Rare Italian Louis Braille 2 Euros coin commemorating the 200th Birthday Anniversary of Louis Braille from 1809 to 2009

Italian - 2 Euros commemorative coin 1809 to 2009 commemorating the 200th Anniversary - Birth of Louis Braille. The coin depicts a hand reading an open book by touch. The index finger points at a vertical inscription ‘LOUIS BRAILLE 1809-2009’ and two birds in flight above the hand symbolizing freedom of knowledge. The monogram of the Italian Republic, ‘RI’, is at the top right, while the mint mark ‘R’ is at the bottom right. Braille’s name is written under the book in the alphabet that he invented. At the very bottom are the initials ‘MCC’ of the artist Maria Carmela Colaneri. The 12 stars of the European Union are shown on the outer ring.
