This is a desk-top device that operates on A C only , but contains a speaker designed by Doctor Bose of Bose Sound. This unit has quarter inch jacks for a microphone, line in, external speaker and line out with Braille labels. Record monitoring is also available. If an external sound source has variable speed, it is possible to compress or expand that material too.
