Apple MacBook, 13 inch, Late 2008 Unibody aluminum model
$150.00
Core 2 Duo, 2.4 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive.
Two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Mini DisplayPort, headphone jack, microphone jack.
Original Apple MagSafe power adapter.
Fresh copy of Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan installed. Note that El Cap is the last OS X version supported on this model.
If you've been thinking about trying Mac VoiceOver or the other built-in Mac accessibility features, this is an affordable way to get your feet wet. Mac accessibility hasn't changed much in the past few years, so what you'll experience in El Capitan is essentially what you'd get with a newer model running Sierra. This MacBook shows signs of wear typical for a 9 year-old laptop. There are a few scuff marks and a small crack in the aluminum below the right wrist rest, but all-in-all this machine is pretty clean and works well for it’s age. I've owned this MacBook since 2009 and replaced the original battery and hard drive within the past few years. I also replaced the original optical drive with a second internal SATA hard drive bay, which is currently empty.

802.11 AC and Bluetooth.
12.5 inch screen

AC Adapter.
This is a 2014 model I purchased directly from Lenovo's Outlet store in November 2014. Like most ThinkPads, it is a solid business laptop, not flashy, not designed for gaming or multi-media. It weighs approximately 3 pounds and works and looks great. Note that this is a non touch screen model, and the screen is the basic 1366 X 768 model with low brightness (200 nits), so it might not be best for folks who plan to use magnification on the built-in screen.
