Classifieds: Selling a Vario Ultra 40 Multi-Device Braille Display and Note taker, in great condition
I'm selling my VarioUltra 40 display because it simply doesn't get used enough. I'll include the carrying case that came with the display, a nice sturdy Micro USB cable for charging and data transfer. and an optional 32gb flash drive (remember to ask for this if you want it). This will allow you to copy files to and from the unit easily. There's a manual built in and available online, but if you want me to send you an electronic copy of the quick start or the user manual as well, let me know.
The Vario Ultra features a file manager, word processor that supports several formats, pdf viewer, calculator, and a few other useful utilities that make it much more than a Braille display. The included USB-A port allows you to connect a flash drive or other external storage and transfer or back up files without connecting directly to a computer.
Even as a Braille display, this one manages to outdo the competition with its multi-device support: Connect to 1 USB and four Bluetooth devices simultaneously and switch between all of them with a single command. I don't want to say this is the only display on the market with this feature, because I might be missing something; however, it's the only one I know of.
This display retailed for $4000. I'm selling mine for $2000 or best offer. I've had it for two years, but it's stayed in its case for 99% of that time.
