Blind Bargains

Classifieds: A, QWERTY, Windows11 blindness notetaker for under $400.00!

What I love about note takers is the fact of there privacy. #1, There is no visible screen, and #2, they are flat and you can have it on your lap to type even sliding it’s face under a table if need be. Standard laptops are great, though there is the screen, which takes a lot of space, when you think about it and it is virticle.
The below, is a pretty cool hack.
Using the following Amazon links, you can purchase,

1, a Windows11 tablet, that ships with a QWERTY keyboard. The Keyboard connects megnetically to the side of the tablet and creates the top to a case, if you will, that covers the tablet when not in use.

The issue with the form factor of it's factory setup, when open and in use, is the tablet and the keyboard both lay flat out,the tablet above the keyboard on a table, it is large enough that it would take more than a desired work space. it won’t fit on your lap comfortably. Keep reading.
The tablet has two USB type a ports, a USB type C, a Micro SD slot, a 8th inch headphone and power. tactile power and volume buttons. It has a quod core processer and 8 GB of ram, which is honestly more capable to run Win11, than you might think if you have only experienced Win10. It feels like Win10, with 12 GB of ram with a decent processer.

2, is a BT keyboard with a metal back, that will with the magnet on the lid of the keyboard case, stick together, like they are meant to be, so the tablet is closed, no one can look over your sholder, and it’s flat, and the keyboard on top of the case, it feels, like a note taker, such as a thin FS pacmate. This making a small and portable QWERTY note taker solution! The keyboards keys are spaced enough to feel more natural than one would think with as small as the keyboard is. The layout is so that there are only the nessasary keys. The number row doesn't have extra keys on the right so you can find the numbers quite easily. After F12 is just the delete key so hitting shift+F10 is natural and you don't have to fumble to find F10.

After you pare the keyboard by flipping the switch and hitting the paring button at the top right of the keyboard, hit, Function, FN and E to put the keyboard into the layout for Windows. The only odd thing is that the windows key is directly to the left of space, then, alt, to the left of Windows. You get used to it.

the two devices purchased together, are under $400. Running Windows11, the tablet is quite quick, more power than one would need for note taking alone, quick enough for web browsing, e-mail Twitter and more to not at all feel tedious.
Instal your screen reader of choice, and you are ready to go.
This, combo is what a QWERTY blindness notetaker should be, at the right price.
