#atia2010 Audio: Hands On with the Book Port Plus

The Book Port Plus was certainly the talk of ATIA, marking the return long-awaited return to the digital book player

marketed by the American Printing House for the Blind. Larry Skutchan, Technology Project Leader for APH, gives us a

hands-on demonstration of some of the features which will be present in this forthcoming product.

Great product preview. J.J., were you able to hold the Bookport Plus? How does it compare in size to the Book Sense?

J.J. Wednesday, 10-Feb-2010 1:24 PM ET:

It's the same shell as the Plextalk Pocket. I'm holding them next to each other now and the Book Port Plus is slightly thinner, about the same length, and perhaps a half inch thicker. The Book Port Plus has probably the most recognizable buttons, but still looks sleek and feels smooth to the touch..

J.J. Wednesday, 10-Feb-2010 1:31 PM ET:

Sorry that should say a bit wider, not thicker.
