I am not sure if this would be of any interest to the BBQ audience, but I ll pass it along anyway.
Have you ever wanted to contact an executive or another individual at a particular company but couldn t find their email address?
There are lots of packages professionals use to scrape email addresses, and there are some tips in Google, but I learned of an accessible website that will help you find email addresses.
Check out hunter.io.
It is accessible, and there is a free and paid version.
The free version gives you access to 100 searches per month whereas the paid versions give you a lot more, starting at 1,000 searches for $49.99 A MONTH.
You start by putting in a company s address, say, Walmart.com.
The site will then give you a list of all email addresses it found on the web.
You can then search for a specific person.
You can save a step and use the email finder to perform the same function.
Need to know if that email address you found is accurate?
Use the email verifier.
Let s say you found an email address for an employee at Walmart.com.
Copy and paste that address into the email box on the email verifier page.
You really want a message that says that this email address is valid and safe to use.
If not, you will receive a message saying that the email address can t be verified with certitude and then you will see a confidence number as a percentage.
You will also see what types of errors the site found.

Ron Kolesar writes in to tell us about his recent experiences with Charter Spectrum.
"I am a happy spectrum cable customer for the U.S.
Good morning to my fellow U.S spectrum cable subscribers.
Spectrum Cable that once was Time Warner Cable now has a blind friendly
voice output cable converter box.
I would say it's about 90 to 93 and maybe stretching the truth to 95 percent
blind friendly.
The voice is a female voice that is loud and clear.
I think it works off of the volume, but don't quote me on that.
I won't lie.
There's still a few bugs on Spectrum's end and on the client's end as well.
But Spectrum is also learning and they want to hear from blind and deaf
Spectrum clients who own and use the new world box two box and remote.
It is nice to be able to program in watch on demand shows.

Because I might have missed out on the beta testing of the project and we
weren t suppose to get them until December, but I've been giving quite a bit
of feedback on what is and still isn't working.
Some of the bugs, especially on Spectrum's end have been fixed, but there's
still some bugs on both sides of the coin.
I don't have the DVR package, but I do have what they call the gold package.
I took off six movie channels though and my bill is just slightly under $200
per month.
That's because I have the monthly unlimited phone, broadband cable and
quicker internet.
About the second quarter of 2019, Spectrum is coming to take our remotes
away from us and replace them with a remote that has a push to talk AKA PTT
button for my fellow Ham Radio operators on the list.
We will be able to have voice input for both the tv set and the box.
So, there you have it.
It isn't still one hundred percent blind friendly just yet, on either side
of the coin just yet, but
I give Spectrum Cable a huge A for effort for trying.
