Tip: Travelear for iOS

This new app lets you visit places in 3d audio right from the comfort of your earbuds. Listen to the surf roll in on a beach, the wind blow through a far away forest or ride the London Tubes past RNIB in this free app. You must be running iOS 11.3, or higher, to climb aboard the Travelear app though.

chris added this comment to our story about Baum from last week s show

Hello, I am from Germany and the slogan you've translated is correct. The new company is located in Jena. The company, which has manufactured the Baum Brailledisplays and magnifiers (PTS Jena), was located in the same town and same street as the new company. Perhaps one staff of the old manufacturing company has founded the new L + S company. Unfortunately I don't know more than you at this time. If I have more information, I will inform you here. Unfortunately my english is'nt so good, I'm sorry for this. Greetings from the north of Bavaria, you make a great job with this website and now you know, that people outside the USA read the sites and listen to your podcasts too. Christian

Rebecca Skipper gave us a quick note on the JAWS 2018 and Firefox front from her vantagepoint.

Hi,

I installed the latest JAWS 2018 update and the new Firefox!
It works great and is faster than Chrome for me!
It was worth the wait!
