APH Word puzzles needs desktop beta testers

The American Printing House is seeking pc and mac beta testers to provide feedback on a new Word Puzzles application.

The Word Puzzles web app will let you play puzzles from a variety of sources including crossword files from major newspapers and publications.
Word puzzles will eventually be accessible on both mobile and desktop browsers, but they are only looking for desktop testers at this time, with plans to call for mobile testers later in the development cycle. There are a few potential paths to becoming a tester. First, send a blank email to pz-beta-subscribe@tech.aph.org. You may also submit feedback via the about section of the web app, located at https://wordpuzzles.aphtech.org. In both cases, you will need to fill out a short survey upon subscribing/providing feedback. When testing this app, consider the following questions:

  • Does this application allow you to do crossword puzzles?
  • Is the user interface easy to use?
  • Was the documentation helpful?
  • What would make the experience of doing crossword puzzles more enjoyable for you?
