Dell Releases the Inspiron Mini 9 Tiny Notebook from $349 Shipped

Dell has jumped into the ultraportable PC fray with the release of the Inspiron Mini 9. It features an Intel Atom processor, which helps to conserve battery life, and runs at 1.6gHZ. The base model runs Linux which could be made accessible, while Windows XP Home is available starting at $399. Up to 1GB of memory is also included as well as a 4, 8, or 16GB solid-state hard drive. Wireless connectivity is included and Bluetooth can be added for $20. The keys should be quite usable along with its 8.9 inch screen. Overall, it looks like one of the best values for this emerging segment of laptops.
