Facebook is offering an alternative to its normal site called Facebook Lite at lite.facebook.com. While we were hoping for it to be a compromise between Facebook Mobile's stripped-down interface and the regular site, it, for now, looks much closer to the original. Some may enjoy this interface, however, especially for commenting on a person's status, which uses regular buttons and controls. The site is in beta, and you may be able to influence development by suggesting accessibility improvements by sending them feedback.
