Blind Bargains

iBlink Featured by iTunes on Front Page

On the surface, being a featured app in the iTunes music store may seem like nothing. But we're quite proud of Serotek for their iBlink Radio application, which has now achieved this mark. Not only is it one app out of thousands, but it makes a strong statement for the capabilities of blind and visually impaired broadcasters and also promotes the importance of accessibility to a wider audience. Congratulations, Serotek.

Couldn't agree more. Serotek has produced an accessible app that is free and of outstanding quality- simply one reason among a host that makes Serotek the leader in consumer directed AT.

I like the app, but other than publicity, not sure why this is an app and not just a web page. All it does is load a webkit window and present web pages from Serotek, then loads an iPod widget when audio begins. It does expose a bug in Voiceover though, in that the play/stop gesture doesn't work for iPod windows from 3rd party apps and it should.
