TurboTax Now has an Audio CAPTCHA, Don't Forget your Taxes

If you haven't filed your taxes yet, we're glad to report that TurboTax now has an audio CAPTCHA for its free and paid online services. It's the standard "type the words you hear" service from reCAPTCHA, and presents itself right before your taxes are filed. Though the site could use some basic navigational elements like more headings, it is completely accessible for you to do your taxes independently with a screen reader. Even if you did not work in 2009, it may be worth filing to receive some credits and free money the Federal and state government hands out each year.

I was glad to see the audio captia because Soloma had no one available when I had to complete filing my taxes. I did find Turbo tax frustrating because of the lack of labels on some of the editing fields -however this was the first time I was able to file my taxes independently and I felt like I had accomplished something. I had never used an audio captia before and i took several tries to get the hang of it because I had trouble finding the "continu " link.
