Don't laugh, but I have another wonderful use for these ties. If your dog has a skin condition or injury, you can use these to put socks on the dog's feet so it cannot scratch. Recently at the vet, the vet tech was so impressed with this technique, she ordered these velcro ties for their practice. Simply put an ordinary running sock on the furry foot, pull it up around the doggy ankle and bind securely with the velcro strap. The velcro sticks to the fur, but doesn't bind tightly enough to affect the dog's circulation.
