I bought one of these at a flea market and love it. They are dust and waterproof and designed for factory workers who must operate computers when their hands are not clean. You often see these cheap on the surplus market when a manufacturing plant is closed. What makes them special for blind people is that with a long cable, you can put your laptop away safely while you eat, drink or work in the kitchen and never worry about spilling on your keyboard. Works great for munching pizza while you surf, and you can just hose the thing off afterwards. You have to ensure the USB connector doesn't get wet of course.
