The new version allows you to get your current location and access other GPS functions using the remote buttons on a Bluetooth headset or external audio device. Also, offline caching aims to give better reliability when announcing nearby intersections. Other improvements include sharing GPS information with contacts, a weather feature, and the ability to view GPS accuracy and speed from the main screen. BlindSquare now costs $29.99 and is available from the app store.
