Accessible Apps has released a new update to it's Twitter application for Windows, Chicken Nugget. Version 4.0 includes support for Twitter images, the ability to scan text out of images from Tweets, a spell checker, the ability to choose which users to DM, and the ability to translate expanded tweets.
This release also enhances support for searching, tweet scheduling, and user timelines. The update also fixes some crashing issues for those running more than one account upon launch of Chicken Nugget, bugs related to the uploading of audio on Windows 8 and higher, contains translation updates, and more. Please see the source link for more details. The new version of Chicken Nugget is a free download for existing Chicken Nugget customers. Launching Chicken Nugget should also automatically prompt you to install the update.
I have a Twitter account and wanted to try Chicken Nugget. I had no trouble downloading and installing it. It started, opened an Internet Explorer window, and prompted me to log in to Twitter. I entered my username and password. I know the Twitter login was successful, but nothing happened in the Chicken Nugget window.
