From a room somewhere within the Nugget Casino in Sparks Nevada comes the first ever BBQ Game Show. Recorded in front of a live studio audience, and thankfully edited for podcast presentation by Mr. Derrick Lane, our announcer Joe Steinkamp provides the info for our Master of Ceremonies J.J. Meddaugh. Join the BBQ Crew in a series of pricing games that bear little resemblance to those you might have heard on other popular nationally syndicated programs. Ahem, cough cough, hear members of the studio audience compete for valuable prizes. Also, for stuff we didn't want to pack up with us for the trip back home.
Before we begin, we would like to thank immensely those who provided prizes to the event. Speed Dots and Ginny Owens are fine folks. So please check out their pages linked within our show notes to learn more about what they do and offer. Prize pricing was based on product pricing from A.T. Guys, Speed Dots and GinnyOwens.com. Food item pricing came from time of purchase prices at the local chain Smart And Final
Food item links listed below do not match with prices mentioned during the show and are provided for those who wish to experience the possible deliciousness of them for themselves.

A Show Off Showcase
Our last game features Sandi and Karen. Whoever guesses a number that is closest to the price, without mentioning a larger number than the price itself, will win. here is what items are on display.
A Cone-shaped Bluetooth Speaker
along with a gaggle of items we found in the Nugget gift shop. Such as magnets, shot glasses and nifty pen-sized flashlights that said "Reno" and "Nugget" on them.
Let's have a hand for Wendy, Marco, Cathy, Sandi and Karen for being our first ever game show contestants. They were great sports and it made this event a real thrill for us.
We'd really like to thank everyone for helping us make this first outing a fantastically fun night. Dave Wilkinson, our human clock and random number generator, was a last second addition to the proceedings. And, as stated during the program we could not have captured this on audio without the help of the talented Derrick Lane!
