Voice Dream Reader Version 4.13.0 Released, Bringing New Features and UI Changes


A new version of Voice Dream Reader has been released, bringing new fonts, Bookshare changes, improved cloud services and more. Read more about the update below.

  • Bookshare has been updated to version 2.0, adding assignments, reading lists, collections, and a new UI for iPad.
  • improved access for Google Drive, Evernote, and Dropbox.
  • Added a new context menu for the library. To access the context menu, you can either double tap and hold on a title and the library, or triple tap the item. Context menu options include
    • play
    • Delete
    • rename
    • flag
    • Rewind to beginning
    • Move to folder
    • reading list
  • Atkinson Hyperlegible, a new font developed by Braille Institute and said to be better for low vision readers, is now supported.

This new feature set from Bookshare 2, as Winston has implemented it, is great! I particularly like the fact that after you do your search, there is a filter button that will allow you to filter out books that are not in your preferred language. Making it much easier to find books. Great job. Also, Winston quickly released 4.13.1 to make the publication date more clear and distinct from the add date.
