ATIA: New Seika 40-cell Braille Display Released, Currently for only $2,245.50

The Adaptive Technology arm of Perkins has released Seika, a new 40-cell braille display which connects via USB. It's compatible with JAWS, Window-Eyes, and HAL among others and is initially offered at a significant savings over other models, at $2,495. If purchased before March 1, an additional 10 percent discount is available, making the price $2,245.50. While we wish for modern options like Bluetooth, the lower price for this unit is certainly a welcome change. Via Assistive Technology Services of Maine

I would like to see this Braille display use an interface mode which would allow it to be used with any screen reader, such as System Access.
