Hims Announces the Braille Sense U2 Mini, Replaces the OnHand with More Power

Hims has announced the Braille Sense U2 Mini, a replacement product for the aging 18-cell OnHand portable notetaker. The form factor is virtually identical to the OnHand but includes modified internals similar to the other U2 models including an enhanced GPS chip, improved battery life, and 802.11N wireless. It also features 32 GB of on-board storage and runs the Windows CE 6.0 operating system. This means that all of the features of the Sense 8.0 firmware will be enabled for the device. It retails for $3,995 and shipping is expected to begin in November. Hims is offering a free reward for early adopters: an Executive Products leather case, a USB LCD display, or two hours of training. The full press release is below.
