Voice Dream Scanner enters Android Beta, costs $5.99

Popular iOS scanning app Voice Dream Scanner is porting to Android, and is entering public beta.

Voice Dream Scanner features fast, private and accurate OCR in a variety of languages.

Scanner can use either your device's built in text to speech or any of the high quality voices included in Voice Dream reader or writer to read recognized documents.

Language and document boarder detection are done automatically. All documents remain on-device, and the app does not require an internet connection to run, making it both convenient and secure. After documents are recognized, they can be saved to Voice Dream reader or writer, or to the cloud to open in any other supported app on your device.
