K-NFB Reader App Coming to iOS for $99, Available by the End of August

A K-NFB Reader app is coming to the iPhone, and will be available in the app store by the end of August. This according to a presentation by Jim Gashel of K-NFB Reading Technology, who also announced a $99 price point for the app. This is 10 percent of the cost for the previous version which ran on Nokia phones. IN demonstrations, the app was reading text within about 2 seconds of the picture being taken including a Powerpoint slide from 25 feet away. Text navigation, Dropbox support, and the ability to turn business cards into contacts are a few of the features included in this new version. We'll post more information on this forthcoming app as we learn it.
